Hello group,
I would appreciate some help with this. My webpage is in a frame, and
holds a lot of images. Some of these images have links and use
Javascript to carry out a mailto operation.
When OE is launched, the loading of the page stops, but it will not
resume loading after OE is closed - a 'refresh' would work in effect.
I tried to reopen the window, but it anchors at the top.
Is there some expression or approach I am completely missing here?
Thanks for any guidance on this.

Hi
A very high percentage of home users - because it is part of Windows
and is a good client.
My site is social andis not a business site; it would attract very
few with Outlook ie not OE.
In any case, the link does not launch mailto directly; it launches a
'confirm' alert box which announces that the link is for visitors
using IE - OE (yes) otherwise type it in (cancel).
I am no stranger to mailto arguments.

<form onSubmit="return editData();" name="estm" enctype="text/plain" method="post" action="mailto:user@domain.com?subject=Daily numbers&body=window.this.document">
I would like for it to open the default email program and let me choose an address from that form. Is this possible? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi,
Is there documentation that talks about the page lifecycle, the lifecycle of
controls on the page, and the rendering of inline code, in a single
document?
Thanks,

In the following simplified tag:
<a
href='mailto:<address1@somewhere.com>,<address2@nowhere.com>?subject=Testing'>
When clicked, both addresses appear as "To:" recipients when using
Thunderbird or Outlook as default clients; whereas only one address
appears when Outlook Express is the default client.

Hi there,
I need a function to prevent a page from being loaded too often too
fast.
So say, one is only allowed to refresh a single page 5 times in 10
seconds, or 10 times in 5 seconds (or whatever ... ).
If the load frequency exceeds that, the site calls exit(); And a
message is displayed. Just like Expression Engine does ...
This way i want to protect the DB from being queried rediculously

(2) server does it's thing and sends response back
(3a) /default.aspx loads ( yay! )
(3b) while the client is loading the page.. we continue to add items to the

I've got a XML file I read using a file_get_contents and turn
into a simpleXML node every time index.php loads. I suspect this is
causing a noticeable lag in my page-execution time. (Or the wireless
where I'm working could just be ungodly slow-- which it is.)
Is reading a file much more resource/processor intensive than,
say, including a .php file? What about the act of creating a
simpleXML object? What about the act of checking the...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
