Mouse shape after pop up

All,
I have a web page that calls a popup calendar . Users can select a date and
then the date is populated back in the field in the form. Each date field
has its own popup calendar. When the pop up closes out and the date is
filled in the date field the mouse cursor shape is changed to busy hour
glass - Why does this happen?
The rest of the operation to the form is not effected but the mouse cursor
does look awkward and can put people off.

Is there a work around?

Any suggestion are welcome

Thanks
Jawahar

I assure you that your question is impossible to answer without actually
being able to examine the source code (an url is just fine) or
sufficient chunks of relevant code.

Hi all, I am using Firefox and embedding Javascript in html. I understand that we can use mouse events by coding them in the body of html (by creating a button or anything and by adding in the events in the <img> tag). <input id="StdDev Value" name="StdDevButton" type="button" value="Standard Deviation Value" onclick="readStdDevValue()"/>

In my Windows Forms application, while executing a process that takes some time, I am changing the cursor to the hourglass by setting Cursor.Current = Cursors.WaitCursor. This is working just fine, except that any mouse events generated during this wait period (such as clicking on a button, etc.), get processed once the processing is complete. For example, while waiting for my task to complete, I click on a button (even though the...

Hi! I have a round area which I want to be able to move the mouse over and fire off events... how do I do that? I have drawn a FillPie Graphics and I feel that there has to be a way of getting to know if the mouse is over that area since I have the coordinates to paint the Pie but I don't know where to start or what to look for really. Best Regard

Hi all, I am searching for a script which does the following: I have a frameset with two pages: left and right. On the left page there is an image map. When I hover the mouse over a certain area of the image map, I want to appear an image in the right page. There are more area's on the image map. I want a specific picture to appear, each one correlated to a specific area. Is there any scrip which can do this?

Hello, I have tried this using the MouseEnter/MouseLeave events. However these events do not really refer to the rectangular shape of the form, but the client area (form area minus children areas). This means that if the mouse is currently inside the form's client area and it enters a child, a MouseLeave event will be generated on the form. One little trick to overcome this is to do a point-in-rectangle test inside the MouseLeave...

Hi All! I have a custom button I made, useing an image I created in photoshop. It's a circle, but the button itself is a quare shape. The button looks like a circle, but when you click on it or hold a mouse over it, the square shape can be seen, in this case a white background. What can I do so when I hold a mouse over the button, I don't see that sqaure shape, or the outlin of the button? Thanks!

Hi Everyone: I'm trying to make a simple windows application that allows me to draw a shape on the form using a Graphics object. Drawing the shape is pretty simple. My problem is I don't know how to capture the region of the shape and place that into a container that I can move while holding the mouse button down. I have seen this done in many other Windows applications. Can anyone point me in the direction I need to go? Sample code...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
