Change timeout value for navigating a link?

I want to change the time it takes the browser to timeout before producing a
404 error on one of my web pages. I want to do it before I set the SRC
attribute of an IFRAME on the page, and change it back when the IFRAME
onload event fires. Is there a Javascript function to change the timeout
value?

thx

the timeout for 404 depends on the sever, not the browser. the best i
know to help you is to specify an special error404.htm via .htaccess
that perform the necessary actions. clearTimeout() will allow you to
specify a new timeOut().

Hi, I have an ASP.NET 2.0 website that uses SQL Server session state. All works well with session state, except it seems like no matter what value I use for the timeout in web.config, the session always times out after 20 minutes. I have upped the session timeout to 240 minutes (4 hours), deployed the site, even restarted the web server, and still the session times out after 20 minutes. It seems to be ignoring the timeout value in...

I have and ASP.Net 2.0 application I've set the session state to use SQL Server and I modified the Timeout setting to be 60 minutes. However, my session is still expiring in 20 minutes. Looking in the database this is the value for all sessions. The session settings look as follows: <sessionState mode="SQLServer" sqlConnectionString="data source=servername;User ID=user;Password=password;" timeout="60"> </sessionState>

I support several intranet sites one of which had NO STATE. Even though content has ASP extensions, it was all rendered HTML. Site had NO session or application variables being managed. Site had no global.asa. IIS Manager had site timeout set to 20 minutes. We had to add an ASP include to pages, and that ASP include contained our first session variable. Users then started complaining of timeouts and being redirected to logout pages...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
