In a web form, I want the user clicks on one button and this button will
trigger another button/link which will open a new browser window? How to do
that? Is there any method like
Button.performclick?
Thanks

CreateDialogIndirect() fires my Radio button click function without the radio
button having being clicked. I am using VC++ 2003.NET. I believe this is yet
another Microsoft bug. Have checked dialog resources and memory - both appear
to be in order. Can anyone comment on this? Should CreateDialogIndirect()
which is located in dlgcore.cpp ever fire a button click routine??

Hello
I have frames set up in an asp.net application and need one frame to refresh
another. Seeing as events need to be registered at the time the page is sent
from the server, I was wondering if I could place a hidden button in a frame
that would have the attribute to refresh the other. I would need code to
"invoke" the onclick event (ie i need code to click the button).
is this possible?
thanks.

Hello,
I am having a problem with function and class syntax.
I have one class (MakePanel1) that creates a button and label. The button-click event of the button is linked to a function (daclick1) that changes the text of the label. This works well.
I have another class (MakePanel2) that creates a second button. I want this second button to call the button-click function of the first button.
My incorrect call MakePanel1.daclick1()...

Hi,
I have a Java/JavaScript Web GUI application where I perform a lot of long
DB operations
,
which takes 5-60 secs to perform.
Sometimes user double-clicks the button or just gets impatient and clicks
again, which creates duplicate records.
So I am trying to disable the button as soon as it is clicked, and as soon
as it's done, re-enable it again.

Hi,
I am in a mouseup event for button A and I'd like to disable=false button B
before starting some work. Is there anyway that an event for button B can
then fire before my event processing for button A's mouseup has completed?
I beleive event processing to be single-threaded for good reason but I need
a "stop" button and it's no good if it doesn't do anything until the other
processing has finished :-)

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
