AJAX and javascripts

1 New Member
basically im trying to combine jquery with ajax dynamic content and this is what happens

i have a page with a div with content that changes content thanks to ajax.

one of those content pages is a form im trying to validate with jquery, however, it appears when i go fill out the form, as if jquery wasnt loaded, when its loaded in the head of the main page which contains the div.

any ideas?

Hi, Looking for recommendations for a decent API for AJAX work. I need it to be somewhat documented so I can figure out how to actually use it. My most critical need right now is clean code for a "triple" chained selector (state->county->city). Jason

Hello ! We have the following situation - when Ajax request is sent what's being returned by the server is usually an XML (which is used for DOM updates) but sometimes it's HTML which is a whole new page that should replace an existing one. I.e when we issue an Ajax request we don't know what will be returned and analyze the response to act accordingly. Now, the way to replace the current document with a new one used to be easy and...

I am loading a page using ajax, but the problem is that the javascript functions existing on that page would no longer be available when loaded through ajax, is there anyways to load a page in a way that the javascript functions on that page would still work, I am loading some pages that do not belong to me and I can not create javascripts that would support their pages too,

Hello everyone. i'm constructing a multi-language supporting webpage. every piece of text is put in a large javascript array which is called by the user when opening the webpage. so far so good. when I now use an Ajax-function to change the content of a certain <div>, which's content is in an external.php (in fact, ajax changes this php), i want to make this change appear directly to the viewer (me) without reloading. so i call again...

I have been trying to fix this issue the whole of today and have gotten no where. I am developing a new website, and wanted it to display a webpage in lightbox and have an external page added to the main page, both worked successfully apart, but it wasn't until I combined them that I have had an issue. My aim was to have ajax add the external page into a div and then load lightbox from that div, though that is where the problem lies as I can...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
