Hi all,
I'm working on a project at the office that pulls together a bunch of
our websites into a portal thing and adds a better search engine. We're
also trying to accomadate newer browsers (Netscape 7.2, Firefox,
Safari) and are having some problems. The websites run on different
servers, all of which we control, so we are setting the document.domain
= "ourdomain.com"; in some javascript on ever page. However, we're
having problems....

Hi everyone, this is quite involved but if anyone can help (or just
likes a challenge!) i would very much appreciate it.
Quick intro :
I have forms based authentication (though i do it manually - not with
the built in gizmo). The session times out after 30 minutes.
The problem :
User may take longer than 30 minutes to fill out the form. They would
need to log back in on submission - but if I redirect then they loose

I have a feature that is hosted on a different domain from the primary one
in a frame, and need to retain values in a cookie.
example: A web page at one.com contains a frame which has a page hosted at
two.com
If I view the frameset from one.com in Firefox, all works well with the
content from two.com. But if trying to view this using IE (with standard
security settings), the cookie set by two.com is not accessible.

Hi,
I've been trawling the web for answer to my problem with no luck
although I'm hardly alone it seems!
Below is the generated source for an ASP page that posts a value called
'album' to another ASP page. The other page retrieves the value with
Request.Form('album'); On Firefox this works fine every time. On IE6, I
always get nothing. I'm pretty sure it's the posting side that is at
fault, so that's what I've shown here. Oh, I tried...

All,
I am writing an HTTP 1.1 compliant proxy in c#.NET, for use as a proxy
server for any web browser (IE, firefox, etc). I've got it working
fine for GET requests. However, when a POST request is issued by IE, I
find that sometimes IE does not render the page, even though my proxy
reports that it successfully sent the response from the server back to
IE. So, in IE a blank page is rendered. If I use a plugin like
