Div sliding effect on open/close

65 New Member
Hi all,

I have a div which can be closed and opened on click of a section. Now what i would like to do is that on open and close the div should have a sliding effect.

Normally what we would do is that just apply the styles display:none or display:block, however in that case it just hides/shows instantly.

What i would like to do is have a sliding effect on open/close.

Is this possible to do?

Thanks in advance.

maybe this is worth a read too (though it focuses on another subject, but it seems to use some techniques you may want.)

regards

PS: yes, google is your friend

Hi, I've a module report.py having a set of funtions to open/close/write data to a log file. I invoke these functions from another module script.py. Whenever I'm changing something in report.py, I'm running the file (however, it has not effect). After that I'm running script.py again. However, the output is not taking effect.

What I want to do is run tcpdump continuously in the background and dump to a file. Then, while tcpdump is working, I'd like to grab arbitrary chunks of the open dump file and parse pieces at the head of the file. After I'm done parsing I'd like to delete them from the front of the file, creating a sort of sliding window effect. What would...

AFAIK, when placing an object into the Cache with no special instructions (no dependencies, sliding expirations, hard expirations, etc), it will just sit there in the Cache until the system decides it needs to remove the object to free up memory. (If my understanding so far is wrong, please clarify) What I'd like to know is that if I place...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
