I'm trying to create a text editing and updating capability to help
someone who wants to maintain content on a web page without having to
know any HTML or use a web authoring tool and FTP'ng the contents.
I've already created a screen whereby the person can create new
content with a PHP program that inserts into a MySQL table. But, I'm
having a little trouble in creating the edit/update functionality.
Can somebody help me out? Thanks.

Iım not sure if this a PHP question or an MySQL question but here it goes.
I have a repeat region of a table called userid
What Iım trying to accomplish is being able to edit the record and then
update it by clicking a submit button on the same line. Iım doing it this
way so the user can quickly update a number of records one at a time. I know
I could do this by passing the userid info to a detail page but really want
to do it the way...

Hi
I'm looking for the best webinterface for editing database data, for example
publishing a table with foreign keys shown as a dropdown.
I don't care what database the interface is for (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle,
MySQL, Access, Filemaker, PostgreSQL, ...), and the price of the software is
also "irrelevant", I just want the best piece of software. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. What do you use?
Note: Follow-Up is set to the...

ServerSide: PHP+MySql
ClientSide: JS (IE5+, Moz1.7)
I need to edit an HTML table that contains records from a table in
MySQL. A MsAccess datagrid or similar behaviour should be the best, but
it's not strictly requested by users.
It is my first datagrid editing in HTML+JS so I need to plan a common
implementation strategy for all datagrids in my app.

Hi Gurus
I was wondering if you know of any good php class for editing mysql data
from a users point of view. Kind of like PHP My Admin but then really
simple and efficient.
I have a look at www.phpclasses.org, but have not been able to find
anything.
Thank you

Hi all
I have a simple form with not much more than a datagridview control,
and want to show and edit the contents of a table in my mysql table.
So far I have managed to set the db table as a datasource for the
datagridview, and display the contents.
Code bit:
public partial class FormEditDbTable : Form

hi everyone- my subject pretty much says it all- is there a secure way
to do this? the non-secure ways are, as i understand it, to populate
a listbox with indices as names, or maybe use a hidden control. is the
only secure way with sessions? i was also thinking about perhaps
creating a meta table that says who is editing which record right
now. any advice?
thanks,
dino

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
