Print two frames in two sheets

4 New Member
Hello,

I need to print two frames in two sheets through javascript.

I've tried to :

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. function print()
  2. {
  3.
  4.       top.window.focus();
  5.       top.window.print();
  6. }
  7.
but not work because the two frames are printed in the same page.

Add a page break to print on two separate sheets. You could do it via a style setting.

I use a print link that causes a problem with Opera 7. The link looks like this <a href="javascript:parent.frames.mainFrame.print()">Print this page</a> I also used <a href="javascript:print()">Print this page</a> and it also worked with most browsers. I realize that it only works if you have Microsoft Windows versions for PC but that is what most of out customers have anyway. I have also noticed that there is a problem

Hi! I would like to use alternative stylesheets in combination with frames. Is that doable? My problem ist that when I - as the user - switch the stylesheet of the framset page, then the selection is not fed through to the multiple frame pages and thus, they do not switch the style. Any ideas how to overcome that problem? Cheers, Eric

I know this must have been asked elsewhere, but I cannot find it. There is a piece of text on my web page that I don't want browsers to resize. IE won't resize it if I specify the size in px, but everything else will. Is there any way to prevent browsers from resizing text? If you could just point me to where this has already been answered, that would be great. Paul

I would like to move a frame based website to a non-framed based site using CSS. The problem relates to having an equivalent of frames and targets and moving them to CSS. The site has two frames. One on the left for navigation, the other on the right for information. Users it to navigate on the lhs and pick out a report, the report then gets displayed on the rhs. All fairly normal.

Hi all, Again running into problems converting existing ASP to ASP.NET 2 in VB. I am simply trying to print a portion of the HTML displayed on-screen and not the entire document. Specifically I just want to print the HTML contained in the content area of my Masterpage layout, without the user having to click File/Print in the browser. I was able to create an Email body from that same content using some javascript and and the OuterHTML...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
