Why is the value of "Instance" whacked in the following code. Note this
only happens in Graph::*Wrapper.
Also please note that if I hardcode WalkFunc and PrintFunct to be
BredthFirst and BredthFirstPrint and make both approriate func ptrs it works
fine.
void print(void *data);
#define R 'r'-'r'
#define S 's'-'r'

The garbage handler in the .NET framework is handy. When objects fall out of
scope, they are automatically destroyed, and the programmer doesn't have to
worry about deallocating the memory space for those objects. In fact, all
the programmer has to worry about is the total sum of objects loaded into
RAM at any known point. Memory leaks are not a problem.
.... So one would like to think. The reality is that delegates and event...

Hello, please consider the code at the end of this posting, that depicts
simple case of custom enumerator. This particular example will enumerate
over list of random number within 1..10, and will stop once the value of 10
is reached. My question, is what's the real point of implemending the
Reset() method, if it is never used by foreach statement. Of course, it
gives me some allocated place where I can do some "enumerator resetting" and...

I need to reset a form to its original value using onclick rather than the
Reset button. So, I have:
<input type="button" name="reset" id="reset" value="Reset"
onclick="form1.reset();"> where the id of my form is "form1".
This gives the error "Object doesn't support this property or method".
Please advise.

This week's Tip is basically geared to Power Access Users and Gurus who demand the ultimate in efficiency within their Applications. It involves an undocumented feature of Jet 4, and is a technique you can use to return a variety of pieces of information relating to Disk Reads and Writes. It is a Method of the DBEngine Object, and as such is restricted to DAO. Next week, we will discuss comparable functionality in ADO.
The ISAMStats Method is...

In last week's Tip, I showed you how to use the ISAMStats Method of the DBEngine (DAO) to return vital statistics concerning Query executions such as: Disk Reads and Writes, Cache Reads and Writes, and Locks placed and released. As promised, in this week's Tip I'll demonstrate how to accomplish parallel functionality within the context of ADO using the OpenSchema Method of the Connection Object.
We indicate to the OpenSchema Method that we...

see that the form is inner the same result's page, pheraphs
the reset() 'see' how default values only the last form and not those

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
