Javascript in Emails

Hi,

at the moment I'm working on my diploma thesis, my topic is HTML-Code
in emails. I should try to hide javascript- or html-code in an
email so that the addressee is not able to see it - the addressee only
sees the text.

My teacher would like to see what is possible over hidden html-/
javascript-code or and whether it's possible to execute files or
whether it's possible to do any damage like viruses/Trojans with this
hidden code.

Does anybody have tips or helpful links/documents about this topic?

thanks in advance

Gee, if you don't know by now that it's impossible to hide it and why, I
won't put my money on your graduation.

As for the other thing: STFW, there's plenty of material about it, none of
which is particularly on-topic here as it isn't language-specific. Try
comp.security.m isc, or in your case maybe de.comp.securit y.misc and
de.comp.securit y.virus.

I would suggest that it might be better to choose a subject about
which you know something if you are planning on writing a diploma
thesis.

Brushing up on your grammar will make your thesis readable.

Based on your post, I would say you should save wasting your time,
because you are unlikely to pass.

Hi everybody, I made an enrolment form using PhP on the server side and Javascript on the client side to check the form validity. When the server gets the form parameters (method POST), it builds a string with all the data and sends an email containing the string to the Webmaster who handles enrolments. Everything seems to work fine on IE 5.5 and higher, Netscape 4.0 and higher, but time to time the Webmaster receives empty emails (should...

A client of mine has long used HTML format emails to promote his business, always to existing clients and contacts, not as spam. They have become more sophisticated over time adding javascript most recently to do mouseovers and image swapping. We are finding increasingly that some recipients are unable to see the effects and looking at their versions of the emails I see that the javascript code has been stripped out presumably by anti...

I wonder if anyone knows of some javascript code to check a comma-delimited list of email addresses for basic formating. What I'm looking for is the javascript code to check a form field on form submission. If there is an entry in the field, does it match the following: text@text.text, text@text.text,text@text.text where each address is between commas and each address is in the format

Like many people, I normally use Yahoo! Mail via the web and like to keep all my emails stored on the Yahoo! server. However sometimes I can’t get access to a PC/the web and I download my emails to a PDA/palmtop via POP3. The PDA uses Windows Mobile software. Since using the PDA, I have had the problem of emails disappearing from the Yahoo! server. However I think I now understand how to avoid this. It seems that Windows Mobile is...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
