Zoom & Pan Image

I'm looking for a image zoom and pan script. My first thought is something using AJAX. I will accept Flash suggestions as well though. The script i need is for viewing only, not any type of resize on upload or anything. Thanks much.

Ajax?... Its not required here.

Use:
style.height and style.width for zooming
event.screenX and event.screenY for getting position of the cursor.
style.left and style.right for moving the image wrt the cursor.

Hi there, I have an image on my ASP.Net page and i created a <p> tag that can be dragged around the screen.. I needed to get it so that when the <p> tag is over the image, whatever is inside, or behind (however you want to call it), only that part gets zoomed in... so i need the box and the image to always be the same original size and only when the box is placed over the image, the part of the image within the box will get zoomed..

Hello, I am putting together a simple picture viewing program to view jpg. bmp pictures. I have the picturebox sizemode set to autosize. I have the picturebox in a pannel set to autoscroll, so if I get a picture that is larger than the width/height of the containing form (pannel, etc) I can scroll. But some of the pictures are like 5 megapixels and are just way too large for the screen. When I open this pic in Microsoft Photo Editor...

I've been with a problem for about two months and i've bought books and search the internet for an explanation, and haven't found one. I'm developing a cephalometric software, that needs to capture an image from the scanner, mark the image with dots in order to find distances and angles. Everything is ok except when i try to zoom in/zoom out the image. Every calculated angle and distance becomes variable because when i use the zoom the...

In MS Access image controls there's a property setting for "Size Mode" --> Clip, Zoom or Stretch. I don't see any similar property in an asp image control. When I have an image on a page, it seems to Stretch no matter what. If an image is displayed that has different proportions than the image control itself, the image is distorted. I need a "Zoom" setting (not to zoom in and out). How can this be done? Thanks, Keith

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers.
