Folks,
Perhaps someone can figure this out - this is 'the process of my script'
I have a form whereby I can add multiple contacts to a single address.
There is only one firstname/lastname/telephone box - when the user
clicks the add button, I read the values from the form fields and
record them into a hidden text input field. This part works because
during debugging, I have converted the <input type=hidden> into a <input
type=text>...

First off.. Thanks to Grant Wagner for help in a previous thread
related to this one.
I am at a total loss... I have multiple fields in a form with the
same name. Lets call the fields with the same name "junk_array". My
first field of junk_array is a input type=hidden. All the others
fields in junk_array that follow are type=text. I can reference this
first hidden field in IE with document.form.field.value. In, fact
my form works...

I've been building a series of SELECT lists that are populated
dynamically using HTTPRequest. Things are going pretty well, and I've
got the whole thing working flawlessly in Mozilla/Firebird.
Unfortunately, Internet Explorer doesn't quite work as expected -- it
gives me an "invalid argument" error that I don't know how to fix.
Here's the entire script, with form, annotated to explain what I'm
doing and where the problem is occurring. I...

Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to speed up a Asp.net 1.1 applications' performance. The
application needs to run in an environment with little bandwith and
therefore pagesizes and roundtrip times shoud be brought back to a
minimum.
The application suffered from relatively large screens. A typical aspx
page was 500 Kbyte so page load times were in the order of 40 - 50
seconds. After unsufficient loading improvement using .net caching

Hello together,
I tried to find out about populating an asp.net server control (a
dropdownlist) from the clientside jscript, but I didn't find a solution up
to now.
I cannot use a html dropdownlist, because a database query in codebehind has
to be done, when a new listItem is selected. So, I need to use a
servercontrol dropdownlist.
Now to my problem:

I'll pulling my hair out on this one and would be so appreciative of
any help.
I am creating a data entry form to enter results of a student survey.
There are 40 questions on the survey. The first 7 have to do with
respondent information like grade, class and age. I have those in a
table with a PK of RespondentId, which is autonumbered. Questions 8-40
all have the same format. For these questions I have a table set up

I am trying to populate a Crystal Report from data in my DataGrid. The
reason for this is that I want the user to be able to change values
without updating the database, but still have their report reflect the
values they anticipate committing to see hypothetical totals of
columns from a set of records. These records are displaying properly
on my DataGrid but I'm not sure how to get Crystal Reports 10 to use
as its datasource the dataset...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
