Can anyone help me to decide the best way to do this please.
I'm writing an intranet and I need to put something like a non-editable
scrolling text box on the home page where daily announcements can be placed.
I've tried adding a scrolling text box, but I am not sure how to make it
non-editable. Is there any way I can fill the textbox using something like
textstream? I would imagine one person in the organisation would be in

1. I have an editable data grid with 21 columns. I need to edit only 2
cloumns in this data grid. But when the grid is displayed in Edit mode, all
the columns show long text boxes whichmakes the user to SCROLL a lot.

to make the textctrl initial set readonly and use other event funciton
to set editable of the textctrl but it always can editable. How to set

All,
I create 2 combo boxes on a page: an editable one and a non-editable
one. Both of them have the same string items which are too long to
entirely fit into the combo box. E. g. the size of the combo boxes is
just large enough to display the half of the string "one word".
Now when selecting the item "one word" in both combo boxes, the
editable combo box would show "word" while the non-editable combo box
would show "one ".

I have an Iframe in one of the pages i am developing... the iframe is suppose to scroll up and down and the links target the iframe. the problem is that the iframe scrolls side to side on internet explorer but not on firefox. Hi,
i have a iframe and calling a php inside that, and the is a conext menu by which i'm perfoming task to set colour of selected text on diif conditions.
this is working fine in IE, but in mozilla u have to set desingmode "on" of iframe to set the color of selected text , so when i do this context menu not apper inside iframe.
