I'm new to JavaScript, but would like to include some basic functionality on
a web page. Any help is appreciated.
I use Dreamweaver MX and want to call a simple JavaScript function
onMouseOver on a hotspot in an image. When the user mouses over the
hotspot, a window opens; and when he mouses out, the window closes. There
are several hotspots in the image, and each one needs to have different text

I have a 50% transparent window that is on top of the
desktop. I want the user to be able to click 'Through the
transparent window' onto objects behind it ... my computer.
The transparent window does not need force it just needs
to be ontop of all the other windows.
another example is .. if you press alt-ctrl-del to bring
up task manager how can i program the window to pass mouse
clicks on it to the window behined it, if task manger...

I wrote an image viewer and just added the zoom feature, so when the
image is larger than the form scrollbars appear, but when I scroll the
image(if it has transparency) it leaves a trail of image ghosts from
the previous position.
does anyone know how to stop this from happening?

When I passed bounding area ( Location,height ,width )of a Window
control to the ClipCursor API it restrict the mouse in screen
coordinate ,Its fine because ClipCursor works on Screen coordinate. But
when I changed the bounding area (Location) to Screen coordinate then
pass to ClipCursor API then some time it works and some time it
doesn't work. Also how can unrestrict the mouse from ClipCursor?

page. When it is dragged so that part is out of the window, the

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
