Hi.
I'm looking for a javascript for the following scenario:
The visitor clicks a button and a Prompt box appears, where:
1. He clicks the Cancel button, typing nothing and a new page (null.html)
opens. Or,
2. He gives a wrong answer and an Alert pops-up, with "This is not the right
answer!" in it. So, he clicks Alert's OK button and the Prompt box re-opens
automatically. However, after three wrong answers a new page (sorry.html)

A description of the problem:
1) Go to a page with various settings and a timeout (forces re-login
if over 10 minutes)
2) Before the timeout, make some changes to settings.
3) Press a "reset to defaults" button that uses a confirmation box to
let the user know what is about to be reset (lists items).
4) Walk away while the confirm box is displayed and come back after
the page timeout.
5) My screen now has the page, a confirm popup on top...

Does anyone know how to have the pop-up javascript alert,
Response.Write("<script language=javascript>alert('HEY!');</script>);
, pop-up after the page has been posted back? I am pressing a button,
validating data and then wanting to simply pop-up an alert if say the
login is empty. When I click the button though the page is blank but
the pop-up is there.

I'm guessing the problem I'm having has something to do with Master Pages or
DetailsView because the exact same code works fine on a page without a Master
Page and DetailsView controls.
The problem is, when the javascript fires on the txtDateRequiredOut TextBox
in IE, I get "Error on Page" in the status bar and the error says: "Object
Expected". Viewing the source of the page while running shows a link created
properly for the linked...

Hi,
I need to build an editable Datagrid with add & delete buttons on each
row using javascript.
DataGrid need not be pre-populated with values.
To make the thing complicated, one of the column need to be a date
picker field.
I know things will be easier with ASPX datagrid.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
