there is some property that i think is mostly used for images used as
backrounds that fades them, so you can get the idea of the image but not
have it
obscuring the text thats on it, its not trasparency
i have been going nuts trying to find it, i'm sure i've seen it
described somewhere on the w3c site but embarrassed to say can't find it
again
hopefully somebody knows this or maybe i'm going crazy

I get a 'divide by zero' exception when I scroll in a subdirectory of 'My
Pictures'. This subdirectory is full of .ico, .bmp, .png files that I use for
button images in my Windows Forms projects.
No viruses are found. This has been occurring for a year now...
I don't know if it is a specific file, or just the rendering of the files to
produce icons for the display in Explorer.exe that is the cause.
Anyone have suggestions for me?

Background:
I am working for a client putting a textbook online. The layout of the
textbook is straight forward and is easy enough to style with <h?>, <p>,
<uland <oltags. The text book also contains small images of a key that
represent a key point within the text. In the printed book, these keys are
positioned to the left of the text (in the margins if you will) and some
paragraphs may have more than one key. It is important to the...

I would like to make a simple auto scroll of images with little user interactioin. It would be images moving horizontally in a continuous loop that stops on mouse over and starts up again on mouse out. I have been able to do this with a tween but it is not smooth. I have found may examples with thumbnails scrolling that click to bigger images etc. but nothing as simple as what I'm looking for. Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial...

Hello, I'm using tiny MCE plugin on my oscommerce and it is inserting my website URL when I use insert image function in the emails.
The goal is: Make it send the email with the URL http://mghospedagem.com/images/controlpanel.jpg
instead of
http://mghospedagem.comhttp://mghospedagem.com/images/controlpanel.jpg
As u see, there's the website URL before the image URL.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
