Is there any way to paly music in the website without using frames

Hi All,

Is there any way other than frames to play music in the background of
the website without restart while navigating to different pages of the
website.

Because, frames will affect the SEO.

Is it possible to achieve it via cookies/sessions?

Kindy let me know if you have any valuable suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Suresh P

I seem to recall having visiting a site where the main index page was
a splash page, and it started music in the background. Clicking the
"Enter" link popped a new window over the splash page, leaving the
splash page in the background to play music while navigating the site
on the new window.

An off button is always nice, which I don't seem to recall...

No, it isn't.

The OP asked for a search-engine-friendly solution ("SEO" means Search
Engine Optimization). This is none.

And as popups that are not caused by direct user interaction are likely
to be blocked, and an external media player application does not need to be
installed (ignoring that changing its playlist will disturb the user) there
is no solution to this problem that does not involve (i)frames *and* is
search-engine-friendly.

Because a media object is unloaded every time the resource it is contained
in is being navigated away from.

Our client insists on having a music loop playing as the visitor travels throughout his new HTML website. We will not be doing this in frames and I would prefer not to have the home page spawn new pages from its links. Although that's the only solution that I know of. Does anyone have another solution?

I need to develop a website bearing the following in mind, - the site will have to be dymanic (i.e. the layout can change from time to time), - its a church website My initial intention was to go with frames, but I've learnt that thats just not the way to go... reasons for considering frames, - the menus and header could be maintained in a single frame (static content)

I'm having a really odd issue. Recently my company has upgraded our data server. For a couple of months I'm having to host two versions of the same website on our webserver until the new data server is placed in production. Basically, on the same webserver, I have "Website_Old" which pulls its data from our old data server. I now also have a mirror version of the same website on the same webserver named "Website_New", but this one...

Hello all, I'm developing a site in PHP4 for a music artist, who wants music to play across all their pages. I have loaded a simple flash applet to play the music, but every time the visitor to the site moves to a different page the music starts again. The artist would like the music to play continuously. I can only think of three possible ways to solve this, and I am not happy with any of them.

Here is a chance for you to make my developers look bad. I have hired these guys to development my website which, in part, has music demos available to my users. These demos must include the entire piece with a spoiler in the background so users can not record them freely. The files must be secure! My original request was to have them build an application that merged the two files (spoiler and original music) into a single mp3 file and have...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
