Can anyone provide a quick tip on the html structure to link from a
thumb to a movie poster and from there on to a QuickTime movie, all in
one go, using EMBED?
I have a number of (large) QuickTime movie files, each of them matched
to a one-frame QuickTime movie poster of the same screen size and also

Hello,
How do I play a DVD from a website? I am starting with zero knowledge
of media but have HTML Experience.
I found out that Windows Media Player won't play the DVD. Do I suggest
everyone download Real Player for free? or can I put a realplayer plug
in on the server? Is it possible to check if they have DVD playing

Hi,
I am having a problem with a published Flash Movie. I included a preloader and the whole file size of the .swf is only about 1MB. If I go to the movie, it pauses even before the preloader appears on the screen. I have the preloader located on frame 1 & 2 of the first scene.

i have two seperate movie clips that have been giving me the same problem. in both of them i have a stop() command on the last frame so that they only play once. one i call by using click.gotoAndPlay(1); and the other using line.gotoAndPlay("grow_line").

I have just tried to attach a background sound with on/off button to my movie clip at frame 1 of the main Timeline.
Flash Movie: the movie will keep on replaying until a viewer clicks a button.
(frame 1 to 7)
Problem: the background sound plays again on top of the ancient one. And as the movie starts again, one more piece will be played, and so on.
I've tried to use different approach with action script but no luck, Please help.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
