Dynamically creating a login form

2 New Member
I need a dynamic login/signup form that will appear on click of login or signup. The background page should be faded while the login form appears on foreground. Please refer the example site as:

http://tupalo.com

Please click on right hand side login/signup option to understand what i meant. Please guide me how to do this at the earliest.

thanks and regards,
tushar

To do what is done in the link u gave, all u have to do is create a div with a z-index greater than than 0, then create another div with a z-index greater than the div before and put your form inside the second div.

Changed thread title to better describe the problem (did you know that threads whose titles contain phrases such as, 'help' or 'urgent' actually get FEWER responses?).

Thanks in advance

i want to be able to dynamically set different text boxes depending on the button pressed. i was hoping obj() can "become" object "aaa" or "bbb", but it's not working. function clearBox(inputobject) { var obj=(inputobject); document.main.ojb().value="hello";

I have a usercontrol (login.ascx) that is very simple. It accepts input through two textboxes, and then the user clicks an Imagebutton to submit. I have a parent form that checks the page security (security level needed) against current user security (stored in the context object) and if user security >= level needed to view page then dynamically loads a content control and displays content

Is it possible to dynamically create a new form object (form1), then create a new form field object and add it form1, and then add form1 to the current document? I need to do all this in script rather than using the html <form> and related tags. Can this be done to support both IE, Firefox? Any code snippets or samples showing how to do this would be fantastic. Thanks! --- Mike

I posted a similar message earlier but we've geared away from the original topic somewhat so I thought I'd post again in hopes of getting input from others. I am creating a MenuStrip dynamically. For each ToolStripMenuItem, I'm adding an event handler so that the same routine gets called regardless of which menu item was clicked. All of this works great - my menu is being loaded properly and my routine gets called properly. Within...

hi all, how can I populate one aspx form when page is loading based on page ID? for example: loading page A (to search for VB code) would display labels and texboxes, dropdown lists all related to VB, plus the address bar would show something like this: www.somethinghere?id=3 and if you change number 3 from the address bar to (for example) 34 or 71 you would get different page with the same formatting like I.e: www.somethinghere?id=34...

Hi All, I'm brand new to asp.net 2.0, and have a simple task of just creating a quick and dirty data entry form with SQL Server 2005 on the back end. I added a gridview to my form, and I can populate it dynamically by choosing from a dropdown that I populate dynamically from the database sys.tables table. When I choose a table from my dropdown, poof, the gridview is beautifully loaded with all the columns and rows, and the edit and delete...

I can think of a lot of reasons why this might need to be done but as far as I can tell it's not possible. I've been looking for a way to add HtmlTableRows to a table using a button click for a while and it seems it's not possible because the row that gets added with each click won't get recreated after a post back. After all the reading it seems that any dynamically created controls must be created in the Init event to be recreated after...

I have set text boxes and labels inside the table rows. I then added a button. All of these are done through code. The problem that i am having is i can get the value from a text box with resides inside the first panel (out side of panel that is...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
