If you don't want to read this post because of its length, I
understand. I've spent two and a half days on this problem and have a
good deal of information to relate. And this is kind of a long shot,
but I'm just hoping someone here has experienced a similar problem and
has a better idea of what's going on than I do.
First, I've tested this in IE 6.0, Netscape 7.2, Mozilla 1.75, and
Firefox 1.0. It works fine in IE (even though I was...

Hi
I have two quicktime plugins embedded in a webpage. I want to hide one
and display the other. Then I want to load a movie into the hidden
player. When the first player is finished playing, I hide it, and show
the hidden player.
In IE I do this by setting the z-index of the quicktime objects. This
however do not work in other browsers. Is there a way to stack two
players on top of each other using the z-index with plugins?

Hello,
here is an example of what is driving me totally crazy. This example
will show that the first call to "doit()" will print 30 times the image
with only one call to the server. Then I have a timeout and call doit()
again, and this time, it downloads the picture 30 times!!!! It doesn't
even time to finish downloading the pictures before the next timeout
kicks off and if I let it go for a minute or two i have like 300 calls
to...

I have 2 list boxes - one to fill the second one based on the selection, or
move all items. You can remove the selection (or all items) from the second
one to place it back in the first one. I expanded my horizons and thought
to use script based on the js node operation appendChild(). It seemed so
clean and easy to follow. Works beautifully in IE, but Firefox sees the
value for a nanosecond but doesn't put it in the box. This is the...

Hi,
I am using this code to add hidden fields dynamically before the form submission.
function transfer(actionValue,tms)
{
var formElement = document.forms;
document.forms.action = actionValue;
var newField = document.createElement("input");
newField.type = "hidden";

I spent several hours struggling with dynamic form fields added with
appendChild or innerHTML not POSTing on submit in Firefox. The only
way I found to make it work is to append any created fields to a DIV
within the form. Here is an example I store from another post. I hope
this helps someone.
<html lang="en">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;
charset=ISO-8859-1">

Hi all,
I've been trying to create a table dynamically upon the generation of en event using the appendChild method in Javascript. This seems to work fine in Firefox, but not in IE7. There's also no error message from IE. I'm new to these routines. Could someone shed some light on where I could be going wrong? Here's the code:
<html>
<head>
<script type='text/javascript'>
function makeTable()

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
