Problem with Safari and Java script

I have built a website that uses frames and a heavy reliance on Java Script
to modify framesets, frames and load pages on the fly. The site works fine
when using the PC version of Internet Explorer and Firefox. The Mac version
of Firefox works fine as well. The Mac based Safari is giving me a
headache.

Safari works fine while browsing the site. A problem arises on Safari when
the back button is pressed taking the user to the previous site visited.
Then the forward button is pressed to return to the site. After this
occurs, the javascript is unable to correctly load pages and modify frames
until the chooses to refresh.

Does anyone know of a solution to this issue? Is it a known bug with
Safari.

Thanks

Reduce the problem to a minimal example that displays the issue, or
post a link.

Hi, I've designed a bookmark in Ajax / PHP that I will put soon on sourceforge.net. But I've got an very tricky bug. I try it on some computers with Internet Explorer/Windows, Firefox 1.07/Linux, Firefox 1.5/Linux, Firefox 1.5/Windows and Firefox 1.5/Mac, Safari/Mac. Hi, I've discovered a scenario where Safari 1.3 (I need to make my stuff compliant with 1.3+) gets confused about the scope of local variables WITHIN functions that were created in dynamic script blocks. I've made this example where function def has a local i variable in a loop, and it calls function abc which also has a local i variable in...

Hi all, I'm a CSS rookie, but I'm stumped. Hopefully this is something simple that I'm overlooking. My master/detail page generates the following html code, and I've got it formatted with CSS instead of tables. I have a wrapper that's 800px wide, and I want 4 columns of 200px. Each item is an image 160px wide, with 20px of margin on each...

I've been using the unload event for a long time. I have this code, which I've abstracted and made into a stripped down simple test case below, and it works fine on the major browsers (IE5+, Firefox, Opera). It also works for all Safari versions before 3.1. It's as if they've deliberately made a change to prevent some actions in the unload...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
