Hope someone in the big wide world can help...
What I want to do is have an image slideshow which automatically
scrolls through a series of images very fast, then pauses when you
move your mouse over the image. The images will flick through (at a
rate of about 5 per second) then pause when the user onMouseOver's.
Any help would be...

There is a bug with IE6 handling Javascript onMouseOver
and onMouseOut events. Can it be replaced somehow with CSS?
For example when I want to change images when user moves mouse to
certain HTML table row and then change image back when user moves
mouse out of that row. Take a look at some samples with Javascript:

Hi
I'm having a problem applying return false to a div via
addEventListener.
I'm adding this so that I can drag (click-hold-move) over an image.
(Its so that I can add zooming to the image)
Adding onmousemove="return false" onmousedown="return false" allows
this to happen but I want to add events with
addEventListener/attachEvent instead....

Hello,
I'm trying to change the onmouseover event dynamically.
This sets-up the initial onmouseover event:
<a href="home.html"> <img border="0" id="img22"
src="images/home1.jpg" height="15" width="85" alt="Home"
onmouseover="FP_swapImg(1,0,/*id*/'img22',/*url*/'images/home2.jpg')"</a>

I'm attempting to design a site with alot of dynamic content and
intractability, however I've hit a snag when it comes to the function of
the onMouseOver and onMouseOut events. Using a bit of code from
QuirksMode to grab the location of the mouse, I've built a tooltip
function to show a tooltip to the user depicting the target of a link,
the...

Hi...I hope I am posting this in an appropriate place...if not, could
some direct me to someplace better?
Anyway, the problem I have is that I have a page with a table with two
rows. The top row of the table holds some stylesheet-controlled
buttons, and the bottom row contains an IFRAME which loads a framed
page.
The problem is that...

I'm new to Javascript and am finding so much useful information on this

First off, I've pretty much convinced myself that the issue is that there are onmouseover events inside the div that contains an onmouseover event on it... I wrote the message below first. This was added as I sent.
Original:
My function is firing with every move of the mouse in the onmouseOver area.
I've assigned the onmouseOver event...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
