2 New Member
Hi experts,

How would look the following IE javaScript in Firefox?

var wrd = new ActiveXObject(" Word.Applicatio n");
var excl = new ActiveXObject(" Excel.Applicati on");

Thanks

ActiveX is IE-only. That's one of the reasons why Firefox is a safer browser. However, there is this project, but I've no idea if it will work.

The inner frame should hit a page on the same (private) web server, so this is not a cross-site scripting attack. But I would prefer not to taint the target page with any extra logic to do this. (I will if...

Hi all, I have worked an open source javascript + html page that has the potential to replace your existing browser home page. If you are interested in trying it out, or learning more about it, it is freely available at http://code.google.com/p/tphp/ I would love to hear from you if you have any comments. Thanks, Vishal
