I am working on a project and I was thinking about implement ajax instead of
using pure asp.net, however I've got a problem.
The page:
the page is like a google, yahoo or any other search engine, but with a
difference: when you click a link, instead of go to a page, a text will be
added above the link, like expanding the page on the line above the link.
The idea:
The idea is populate a gridview where each row is a link. When the user

Snippet: http://www.nomorepasting.com/getpaste.php?pasteid=1020&seen=true&numbered=on&langoverride=asp
Line 37 is where I am having the problem. I can't get the onclick
event to fire off. Yet line 16 works like it's supposed to. How do I
get my onclick event to work? I tried changing it from onclick to
onserverclick but that had no effect.
Thanks!

I'm trying to log all links clicked. I'm just working this out so there may be some astoundingly bad methods. Please point out!
It all works nicely though if I use mouseover events as the trigger. If I use click events then the AJAX bit breaks.
Here's the code (mostly):
Adding event listener to all links (firefox tells me errors but it works?!). When I switch from mouseover to click, the whole thing breaks down.

I have a DataList which contains several LinkButtons, which are used to
select a category in my application. I want the currently selected category
to use a different CSS class. Here is an example of the generated code for
one of the buttons:
<a
onclick="UnselectCategories();datCategories_ctl00_lnkCategory.className='Category_Selected';"
id="datCategories_ctl00_lnkCategory" class="Category_Selected"...

Hi,
I've created a table where the header columns link to an AJAX function
which calls a PHP file and returns content - the purpose is to sort
the table on the heading.
The code snippet is:
<th scope="col"><a href="javascript:;" onclick="loadBookingContent('<?
php echo $SERVERPAGE_URL . SORT_BY_BOOKING; ?>','innerhbl')">Booking</
a></th>

test page - http://projects.missioninternet.com/proweb/clients/test.php.
When I added the onclick event so that I could employ ajax on this
page the stylesheet formatting for this <lidisappeared. If you look
at the test page you can see what it should look like. The stylesheet
also defines a:hover behavior (change the font-weight to bold).
<li onclick="makeRequest('echo.php?clientID=<?php echo $clientID; ?
Q1: What happened?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
