To the group,
I am looking for a concept I saw used on at least two sites in the
past. The principle is, for example, a 600 pixel area; this area is
divided in four 150 pixel panels; if you hover the mouse cursor over
one panel, it expands from 150 pixel to 300, while the three remaining
panels contract to 100 pixel each.
If you can simple send a link that shows something close to that, that
would help.

I've been using a javascript in an html file for a banner slider, and
it works as desired. But I'd like to use it on more than one page and
it would be great if I could transfer the code to a .js file and call
it with the
<script src="filename.js"></script> tags as I do for many other .js
files. But, when I try to do that way, it doesn't work right. It will
display the banner text, but only on the 0,0 page coordinate and
doesn't slide....

I want to display different forms when the buttons are clicked and all

new windows forms to the project, i enlarged the form and used many
panels on the same form, which i think is easier to manage.

AFAIK, when placing an object into the Cache with no special instructions
(no dependencies, sliding expirations, hard expirations, etc), it will just
sit there in the Cache until the system decides it needs to remove the
object to free up memory. (If my understanding so far is wrong, please
clarify)
What I'd like to know is that if I place an object into the Cache with a

Hi,
does anyone know of a way to do sliding window similar to WMP 9's
slider bar which can slide up when the mouse gets to the bottom of the
screen in fullscreen mode during playback. Basically I'm trying to
achieve the same effect in my directshow program done in C# via managed
assembly. I don't know of any control which can do this kind of sliding.

I suspect that this is a common problem (and so with a known
solution/work-around), but my attempts to find it have failed.
I have a float (a table of content box) on the left of a page. The
headers within the main material either have distinct background colors
or borders. These borders don't seem to recognize that they are in
material that is wrapped around the float.
I can force specific headers to have sufficiently large left...

The client would love their app to work just like Visual Studio with
auto-hide panels, but that's not realistic. I am, however looking for ideas
or samples on how to make the user able to show and hide a frame on demand.
The app is currently using HTML frames and any solution that doesnt involve
ripping them out is best. I'll condider other techniques but that would
mean a higher price quote that might not get approved.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
