What is the correct search terms to get image stationary, but text moveable?

You know how some pages has a stationary image, but the text can move over the image when the user scrolls down the page? I don't know what to put in the search box to find this code. I keep finding the scrolling text codes! Is the image not really stationary? (I thought the script used JS).
Thanks!

It's funny how when I want this code, I can't find it, but when I don't want it, I keep finding examples of this on many a web page. LOL

Commonly done, eg. you enter a word in a search engine and when a hit-page comes up the search word(s) are highlighted. I'm doing a fulltext search that works well but I've tried a few "packaged scripts" and haven't got one to work yet. I'm looking for straightforward understandable way to do this on my MYSQL/PHP pages. Thanks, Lee

Hi, I have written a function that searches a text string for various words. The text is searched using a boolean 'and' or a boolean 'or' of the input list of search terms. Since I need to use this function for many long strings and many search words, I would like to use as efficient a method as possible. Are there improvements that can...

Hi I'm aware of the use of robots.txt and the use of <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="index, follow"> However, what would be more useful is to be able to control within a page which elements of the page should be indexed and seen by robots and which elements are simply page furniture and it is safe to ignore or not cache (e.g. adverts).

I just started this week on a new project. The existing project uses BEA Tuxedo as a second layer service broker. The clients make calls to the Tux services which in turn retrieves data from an Oracle DB. My job is to support the current application and possibly upgrade teh client app to .Net. I have a few options: I can rewrite the...

There's probably a standard answer for this, but it's never cropped up for me before. I have a (png) image that includes some text (a labelled group photo of a conference), and it'd be useful if a search engine can find those embedded names too -- without redundantly placing them in visible HTML text. What's a good way to do this? Some...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows.
