Finding the page length in a browser

1 New Member
Relatively new to Java and have a question.

I need to be able to take screenshots of an entire web page. The issue that I'm having is finding the page length of a page displayed within the browser so that I can determine if I need to page down to take the next screen shot. Does anyone know now how to find the actual length of the page displayed in the browser?

From there it's just a matter of dividing the page length by the canvas area of the browser, paging down x number of times and taking a screen shot after each page down.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

If you insert a go-between that reads the HTML before it gets to the browser, you'll find the length there (although it must also be stored somewhere, necause clicking properties in the menu gives a size too, so there may be a better way.....)

Since I don't see where Java comes into this, I'll move this to the Javascript forum

I can't make this script work properly. I've gone as far as I can with it and the rest is out of my ability. I can do some html editing but I'm lost in the Java world. The script at the bottom of the html page controls the form fields that are required. It doesn't function like it's supposed to and I can leave all the fields blank and it still submits the form. Also I can't get it to transfer the file in the upload section. The file name...

I am migrating the reporting functionality of my company's web application from Crystal Reports 9.x to SQL Reporting Services 2000, and I am using the Reporting Services web service to render the reports to the browser (typically as PDFs). The typical process for retrieving a report is as follows: 1. A screen in the parent browser window collects the report criteria. 2. A button click posts back the parent window to process the criteria...

Hello, the scenario: There's an ASPX page which shows some text and has three buttons at the bottom: Save, Print and Close. Print and close is done by javascript. But how can I save the page on the client's computer? He/she could do this using the browser (file/save), but I need to have it done by pressing the pushbutton. In my serverside code I get the button-click-event, I also know how to get

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
