I'm using a PHP script to raw output jpeg files in thumbnail generation. This works fine as completely server-side - I call it through an <img> tag, like <img src='picture.php?width=100&path=test.jpg'> but when I do this through an ajax call it outputs the raw binary data. In a sort of blind attempt to fix the problem, I put:
xmlhttp.setRequestHeader("Content-type", "image/jpeg");
in my ajax script to see if that would fix the problem....

Hi
I am trying to implement the Microsoft Ajax.NET extensions to perform a
lookup on a key press of a text box.
What this will do is once a user enters a letter into the textbox,
this will filter a list from a database and populate some filtered options
for the user to choose in a seperate listbox.
Any subsequent key presses will further filter this result set.

Clicking the image triggers an Ajax call to change the database field (toggles the field value between 1 and 0). I recently upgraded to Firefox 3 and suddenly my Ajax.Updater doesn't work anymore. Firefox gives me a "Security Error"... I am using the recent versions of prototype and script.xx.us.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
