This is a link I found. It may or may not be what you require. It has limitations in that it's an ActiveX control and only works on IE.

Symbol MC9000k scanner running Windows Mobile 2003. C# .Net (.Net CF) with OpenNetCf 1.2 installed. Latest Symbol SDK driving the scan engine stuff. I've extracted the barcode scanner handling stuff from one of the Symbol SDK examples, and using their .Net classes, drive the scanning engine in my application. Basically the program has a main screen which allows you to perform differing actions, all of which involved the scanner....

Hey guys, I wonder if you could please provide me with some ideas as to how to get around this problem. Symbol MC9000-k, Pocket PC 2003... With a scanner application I've written, data is loaded into ArrayList structures when the user performs some action. This list contains a list of barcode numbers that are currently accepted. Finally, there is a manual entry button in my application where the user can

How could I directly trigger a very simple on localhost and a known port listening server from my internet browser client? Local host means the little server would be running on the client machine, where my browser resides. Browser would be IE, O.S. Windows 2000 or XP, and it's for an intranet application. The goal of the little server on the localhost client side would be to trigger a scanner, with the TWAIN library. Also this server is...

Right now i have a multi-line textbox that the scan info is placed into. After the info is in the box i use an on button press event to trigger the Split() method to get each line and attach it to a variable. What I would like to do is find a way so that there is no need to...

I've been having some trouble getting the Scanner class to operate the way I'd like. I'm doing some fairly basic file IO and I can't seem to get the class to load the last line/token any way I try. First, I tried using the following: File InFile=new File("input.txt"); Scanner In=new Scanner(InFile);

I have a Metro RS232 Scanner which I seem to be able to connect to in the below VB.NET code but I cannot enable the device through the DeviceEnabled = True line. The code will not error, it just refuses to set this Boolean to True. I suspect this is the reason the DataEvent event will not fire. My environment is Windows 7, VB 2010, Microsoft POS 1.12 Private WithEvents _explorer As PosExplorer Private _scannerList As DeviceCollection...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
