Have you tried making the refreshable part within a <div> and dynamically changing its content using the DOM? Like in the following sample where clicking on the text line makes it be replaced by another text line.
<script type="text/javascript">
var myarray=["Text 1", "Text 2", "Text 3", "Text 4"]
var ind=0;
function changeDiv(){
document.getEle mentById("MyDiv ").innerHTM L = myarray[ind]
ind=ind+1
if (ind > 3)
ind=0
}
</script>
Click the following text line and see it change:
<div id="MyDiv" onclick="change Div()">Click here</div>
Here is how I imagine my process: I have an series of interactive HTML forms. The user begins a Cookie session. A database connection is opened and a transaction is begun. I'm working with a Python program to insert / update textual data into a PostgreSQL database. The text has single and double quotes in it, and I wonder: What is the easiest way to escape quotes in Python, similar to the Perlism "$str =~ s/()/\\$1/g;"? I tried the re.escape() method, but it escapes far too much, including spaces and accented characters. I only want to escape single and double quotes, everything else should be acceptable...

Is is possible to make just a single page within an ASP.NET application use SSL? I've written an e-commerce application and want to make just the checkout page use SSL for secure transmission. If it's not possible to do this, and I have to put the checkout page in it's own application, what's the best way to pass data between the two applications? If at all possible, I'd like to avoid using querystrings.

Hi, I'm having some troubles with my numeric-types in my VB.NET 2005 application, together with a SQL Server 2000. - I first used Single in my application, and Decimal in my database. But a Single with value 4.475 was converted to a Decimal with value 4.4749999999999996D. So after inserting and selecting it from the database I got another value than the original!

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
