hello
I have a DB with many inter-related tables (MySQL)
My main table called "content" has almost only foreign keys (integers)
some have a 3 level relation (ex: content->city->region->country)
I would like admins to be able to insert new records including all the
"content" fields (in 1 page form)
But how can I make an insert form that would display the related
tables as list menus instead of a textfield with a number? (ex: select

I am interested in hearing opinions on the semantic meaning of FORM
(elements) in HTML.
I have to start of apologising because this question arose in a context
that is not applicable to the Internet. Specifically, marking up a
document that will contain multiple related form controls (intended
exclusively for client-side scripting) that would never be intended to
be submitted. I realise that that concept is a non-starter in an
Internet...

I was told in another newsgroup (about XML, I was wondering how to
control user input) that most modern browsers empower the designer to
cast the user created input to a particular character encoding. This
arose in answer to my question about how to control user input. I had
complained that I had users who wrote articles in Microsoft Word or
WordPerfect and then input that to the web through a textarea box on a
form I'd created.
I've...

Hi,
I am creating a site where I need to refer to another external file
(aspx).
I create the form and works fine. But as soon as I try to submit the
form automatically (with form.submit()) I get an error from the
external site. I do not have the code of that site but suppose that my
automatic submission does not pass all of the variables. This is how
it looks in plain html:
<form name="Login" method="post"

I'm using CDO to send mail to the site owner from ASP pages with forms.
Recently one of my forms is occasionally sending email with what seems
to be an insertion which is replacing the plain text part of the email
with something else. Looking at the server sent email source, the
hacked emails have the following:
This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
------=_NextPart_000_0001_01C60610.91D1FFA0
Content-Type: text/plain;...

Hello.
I'm working on an email form on Dreamweaver and I'm looking for a PHP code to make it work. The form with some required fields would send the submitted information and two image attachments to my email address.
I just started looking at PHP two weeks ago for an answer and the only code that worked for me, so far, was a simple php email form:
<html>
<head></head>
<body>
<?
if(isset($submit)) {
//check for email injection attack;...

I have a form with 3 text fields (one of which is a zip code) and 5
combo boxes. The combo boxes are all set with the first value as
'selected' when the page is first displayed. The 3 text fields are
required and are by default empty. I need to validate that the text
fields have an entry and that the zip code is numeric and the correct
length. If the form fails validation - one of the text fields is empty,
for example - I need to alert...

Hi
I have an issue in some browsers when linking to style sheets or images in some browsers using a DOM script after I have submitted a form.
I am trying to make the form submission process accessible to javascript disabled users, it was previously using an interstitial page.
Now I want to hide the page content and replace it (visually) with the interstitial message while the user awaits their results (which could take up to 20seconds)....

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
