comparing two email fields

Am looking for suggestions on comparing two email fields. Have looked in
the usual cut and past sites, but none seem to fit. the name of the two
fields are email and confirmEmail.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Read the group FAQ to learn how to get that field1Ref and field2Ref

Hi, I am not really familiar with MS ACCESS. However, I am trying to make some reports where you compare current data from a table with old data from the same table. What I'm saying is we have a database with current data, and the same database with old data. I need to create reports for new rows inserted, deleted rows, and updates rows. I'm having trouble figuring how to query which rows have been updated (meaning the primary...

Im comparing values in a field while doing a loop if sAct<>myData(5,i) then At the end of the loop I make the value of sAct equal the current myData This will work when comparing other fields withing my recordset (so I know the statement works) but it will not work for the field I want to compare. The only difference with this field is that it has null values. Could this be the problem? if so, how do I deal with nulls?

Hi everyone! I have some questions, maybe someone can help me... I write script for table comparing, but it works wery slovly. There is the script, can anyone give some tip how can I make this process faster and if it is possible in VB. The idea is to compare two tables and if there is some distinction, then is written in third table. Some tables contains more than 200 000 rows and each row contain approximatelly 30 parameeters (columns)....

Can someone help me figure out what is the best way to perform this task? I have to detect if there were any changes from one recordset to another. My recordset consists of a key (guid), and then three fields. There will probably only be three or four records in each set, so i'm not going to be dealing with a ton of processing. For Example: oRS - recordsetname

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
