23 New Member
Hello Again:

So my problems star, when any user stay in my forms for more longe than 10 minutes, and the page reload, the user lose all data in that forms, if he not did submit.

I want to keep the user form data, after reload. Is that possible?

so, en litle words, if the user stay in my forms and he filled some information but he not did submit, and the page reload automaticatly, I want to keep that information, in this way the user not see if the page reload, and he keep the information.

thank you for your help!

Hey, this is a double of the thread Javascript Keep data form after reload here http://www.thescripts.com/forum/thread563692.html ???

As far as I know, when using JS you can store it in a cookie as soon as the value is entered. After reload read it back from the cookie. But if the user does not permit cookies, problem!

I'm trying to open a popup window and then set some data, but I can't seem to make it work. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious. popwin = document.open('mypop.html', \"external\", \"width=\" + w +\",height=\" + h + \",resizable=no,scrollbars=no,status=yes,location=no,toolbar=no,menubar=no\"); popwin.document.data.user=user; mypop.html has a <form name=data> with an element named "user" in it. Essentially, I want to be able to pop...

I have a web form that inserts a record into a DB. This function is called from the button_click subroutine. After the record is inserted, I show/hide some different panels and let the page postback. The problem is that if a person reloads this page after submitting, a new record is inserted into the DB. Short of doing an actual compare query prior to entering the new record, or

Because I have it so the submit button is a hit once only. Here is the code: <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> function validateForm(form) { if (form.username.value == "")

Hi, I need a script to keep running in the background after it's loaded some data. It will make this data available to the main program in the form of a dictionary, but I don't want to reload the calculated data every time the user needs it via the main program. I won't be working with an UI, hope that can be made easily in Python somehow.

I have a .net app that a user currently enters a number in a text box, hits a button and a data call is executed. She wants the ability to enter in multiple numbers (up to 100). So to make things look better visually for that, I created a listbox under the text box. She enters the number in the text box, clicks another button I added and the number is stored in the list box. Then my plan was to grab all those numbers from the list box...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
