ClickOn Behavior won't work in Firefox, works fine in Safari

1 New Member
I just put up a new website that won't work in Firefox, but works fine in Safari.

Are there any known problems? I designed it in Dreamweaver and the navigation bar has flash buttons that should open sized windows when a link is clicked on. It does this in Safari no problem. when I use Firefox nothing happens at all?

help please.

here is the site address

thanks,

Steak

(Sorry if this is a repost...my newsreader keeps crashing on the posting--I don't know if the message going out or not) For some reason this javascript just won't work in Firefox. It works fine in IE, though. I know, IE is a bit more permissive than IE, and sometimes lets errors work when they shouldn't. But from what I can see, I just don't see what's wrong.

I've got a short script that works fine in I.E. and Firefox, but not in Safari. It is supposed to print a constantly-updating counter on the webpage. Any ideas how to get it to work in Safari? The script uses the Date object, especially Date.getTime(). Could that have something to do with the problem? Thanks, E

Hi I have two quicktime plugins embedded in a webpage. I want to hide one and display the other. Then I want to load a movie into the hidden player. When the first player is finished playing, I hide it, and show the hidden player. In IE I do this by setting the z-index of the quicktime objects. This however do not work in other browsers. Is there a way to stack two players on top of each other using the z-index with plugins?

I'm working on part of a larger project, and in trying to debug one aspect, I've got a small test file to work with. The code is practically identical (all important aspects match word for word) to the larger project, which works fine in IE and Firefox so far, but my little test fails in IE, and I cannot figure out why. http://geekforhire.org/tests/window_open_onload.html It's supposed to open the window, change the background color,...

I'm new to Javascript programming and I've run into a bit of a snag with making an XMLHttpRequest in the Safari browser. Actually, the request doesn't work in Firefox either but only when I use a Mac computer. IE and FireFox on a Windows based system works just fine. The problem I am having is that the XMLHttpRequest doesn't open the site that I've programmed into it. When I check the readyState it only returns 0 and never goes through the...

Here is the dilemma. I have a website where everything works perfectly in all browsers except for Safari. When you are in Safari and you go to this page... http://www.3hounddesign.com/Woods_Woods/packaging.html The first time you click one of the numbered boxes at the bottom of the screen it advances to that number. However, after that, it won't advance to the next (or previous) number unless you use the arrows to forward to the next...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
