I need java script code to lock a folder.

Hi friends,
Here is my problem........
if i click on folder in C drive,a prompt box should be displayed asking username and password.if the entered details r valid,the folder should open otherwise C drive must open....

Please it is very urgent for me.....help mee....

I am not clear how to lock the folder using java script . write the htaccess file is able to lock the folder

You will not beable to lock a folder using javascript without an activex control which would be malicious in most cases locking this thread.
