I have a <select> object that i've set up an onchange event that fires in IE fine when I use the cursor up and down in the list, but If I use the cursor up and down in Firefox the event doesn't seem to fire until I've left the field....If i use the mouse all is fine, only when using the cursor keys does it not fire the onchange event in FF. Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi, I have a textbox and a calendar popup window. I got this from a posting (sorry, his name escapes me at the moment). It's nice and simple, so I like it, of course. Only problem I have is that when the popup closes and puts the control value (date selected) into the textbox on my main form, I can't get my onchnage event to fire (i.e., which should load a datagrid). This is the sub that the calendar pop-up form uses when the date is...

I realize that the onChange event for a drop down can be trapped as follows: <select name="myDropDown" onChange="somefunc"> Is it possible to trap the onChange event outside of the select statement? Something like this: document.forms.myDropDown.onChange = somfunc;

Hi there, I'm very novice to web design. I'm trying to make a pulldown menu, but the formatting keeps getting screwed up when you roll the mouse over it. Please see www.boundarysys.com for what I'm talking about. Before the mouse touches the pulldown, the vertical height of the menubar is perfect. As soon as the mouse rolls over it, it expands to about twice the height.

I'm new to JavaScript and I wrote this code to play with. Oddly, if I enter text in a box and then press the button, I only get the onChange event for the text box and not the button's onclick event. But if I press the button without entering text first, the button click event does work. What's up? <html> <body> <h3>Events on Buttons and Text Boxes</h3>

Hi, I am trying to make a dynamic menu using javascript and an xml file. The structure of the page (test.html) is in the code below. When I load up the page the drop-down list is there, so I select a value from the list and it passes that value to the function to get the appropriate data and it prints out the values (which it does just fine). The thing is when I select an item from the drop-down list the other html disappears (even the...

Hi all, I am developing an asp.net 2.0 application in Visual Studio 2005. On my page I have a simple datalist that is bound programmatically to a collection of simple objects. On this page I need to control the visibility of a textbox based on a dropdown selection in the datalist's edititem template. To do this, I registered a client script block function and attached a client side handler for the dropdownlist's onchange event in the...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
