Any problem with onblur=""

Hello,

I'm rendering a page with xml/xsl, for one control, I've set up a an
xsl template something like:

<xsl:template name="MyText">
<xsl:param name="sName"></xsl:param>
<xsl:param name="sAction"> </xsl:param>
<INPUT TYPE="text" SIZE="7" MAXLENGTH="15" NAME="{$sName}" VALUE="Test"
onblur="{$sActi on}"></INPUT>
</xsl:template>

I'm calling the template something like:

<xsl:call-template name="MyText">
<xsl:with-param name="sName">My Name</xsl:with-param>
<xsl:with-param name="sAction"> DoSomething</xsl:with-param>
</xsl:call-template>

Since some of my textboxes need an action in the onblur event, I've put
it in there as a parameter. However, some of my textboxes don't do
anything on the onblur, which means they look like:
<xsl:call-template name="MyText">
<xsl:with-param name="sName">My Name</xsl:with-param>
<xsl:with-param name="sAction"> </xsl:with-param>
</xsl:call-template>

and would be render like:

<INPUT TYPE="text" SIZE="7" MAXLENGTH="15" NAME="MyName" VALUE="Test"
onblur="">

Will having this empty onblur cause any problems?

Thanks,
Eric

Hi all, I would like to replace line breaks such '+' with '<br />'. Easy task. Problems start when I try to only replace lines that do not end with HTML tags. I tried preg_replace("/+/", "<br />\n") but this does not seem to work. An example to better understand what I would like to achieve: first line

Hi I have read some mail on the dev mailing list about PEP 318 and find the new Syntax really ugly. def foo(x, y): pass I call this foo(1, 2), this isn't really intuitive to me! Also I don't like the brackets.

Hi, I've got a window with a "<body onBlur="window.close()"> tag that keeps closing prematurely. It happens when the user clicks on text inside a table in the same window. Apparently IE decides that the <body> no longer has the focus if the <table> within the <body> has it. Firefox handles the page correctly as does MS 5. This may be one of those "security features" that came along with Windows XP SP2, but wherever it came from,...

My resource file compiles correctly, but when I try to open it in VS, I get the error, "cannot find include file". The file in question is a "constant include". This is what it looks like in the rc file: //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// / // // Generated from the TEXTINCLUDE 2 resource. // #include "buildoptions.h"

In ASP.NET 2005 I have an onblur="window.close()" javascript event in the <body> tag. When I click on the window's scrollbar, the window closes. The same code works fine in ASP.NET 2003. Any ideas?

In my application I need to allow users to cut 'n' paste stuff from various sources, some of which might include dodgy characters such as "<". Natch, IE interprets these as potentially dangerous and provides a mechanism to encode/decode them. However I can't seem to get it to work: .... <asp:textbox id=txtDescription style="Z-INDEX: 102; LEFT: 111px; POSITION: absolute; TOP: 124px" tabIndex=29 runat="server" onblur="return...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
