not to round in setFixed()

1 New Member
Hello all :-) I am new to this form but it seems like a group of knowledgable developers. :-)

I have this issue where I have a value like 120.305 I can use the setFixed to get 2 decimal places but I do now want it to round.

Any suggestions????
TIA

setFixed is not a Javascript functin that I know, what language are you using.

Javascript has

math.ceil round up
math.floor round down
math.round round to nearest number

To round you can always add 0.005 before calling setFixed

i.e.

x = 120.305;

x = setFixed( x+0.005, 2 );

x now equals 120.31.

The second book something different. Programming Microsoft Windows with Microsoft Visual Basic.NET "The Round method with a single argument return the whole number nearest to the argument. If the argument to Round is midway between two whole numbers,

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
