Hello, I've been a PHP programmer for a number of years and have just
started to learn JS. My Employer (a water analysis lab) wants what
should be a very simple .js written that basically takes sample hold
time data from EPA regulations and spits out when a sample would
expire, so we can properly label the thing.
The problem is that the .js I have written appears to be doing
something unexpected.

Basicly I want my iframe to have a default page if the user enters in
directly. so I need a way doing this. so I check to see if the ifp value is
null and if so then assign it a value. is this correct?

I'm trying to access a Request.Form variable and plug it into an SQL statement, so that the statement will select just the particular data I need.

Can anyone help. I've tried scaling down a script to the bare minimum and
it still is not working correctly. What I think should happen is that when
the field app_fname is blank, that $hold_chk will get set to 1 and the 1st

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
