The function that produces the error is called by onmouseout when leaving a
button in a navbar to establish where the mouse has been moved to.
If the mouse moves off a button onto another window (or the auto-hide
Windows taskbar) then the "event.relatedT arget has no properties" error
occurs (correctly?). How do I recognise that the relatedTarget is another
window so that I can avoid the error?
Thanks in anticipation.

I am rather sure we can show you how to avoid that. You might want to
