About OO Javascript...

Hello

Please read the new concept about JavaScript that I have put up on

http://wganesh.blogspot.com/

Here is quick summery of the idea that I have put up:
(This is for lazy folks)

1. Browser plays more active role while a person is surfing
2. Working with JavaScript becomes very easy since it is completely OO
3. Data fetching is very easy

Once again I request you to read the article, as it will change the way
web technology is developed these days.

Regards
Ganesh

Why? It is dated August 2004 - is it really that old or is it an
indication of the state of your host?

It says nothing new, in fact it says very little at all. The
pseudo-code uses the future reserved word 'class' - is it modeled on
JavaScript 2.0? ECMAScript Edition 4? JScript 5.6+? JScript .NET?

Hi: I have a problem: I've a page that sends an encrypted password, using MD5, to a PHP file, which is able to compare such MD5 encrypted password with an encryption stored on a data base. But the encryption way, on mD5, on JavaScript and PHP doesn't return the same value. My questions are: 1. Aren't these methods the same? I mean, the implementation on JavaScript and the implementation on PHP.

I'm creating a simple AJAX library. It's an object that will return an array containing the response text or xml. I'm trying to find a way to assign the response as a property of the object, but from within an inline function. Within the AJAX object: this.xmlhttp = new XMLHttpRequest(); this.response = ''; //to contain the response text OR xml var that = this; //since we cannot reference this within the

Should I have 2 controls with different names and write code twice in the button click event or...

Hi, I am a newbee. All our applications so far were traditional client-server database applications. We are considering now writing our main application with Visual Studio .NET. Basically we want to be able to install each version of our software on one or two machines without having to meddle with typically several hundred client computers. We understand that using the new architecture we write server side code in C# or Visual Basic,...

Hello All, I have couple of doubts regarding the concept of on-demand javascript loading using javascript code. I could see on the net different techniques for achieving this - techniques like: 1. document.write("<script src= language='JavaScript'></script>); 2. sc = document.createElement("<script>"); sc.setAttribute("src", ); and append this to the head

I'm working on a small Ajax request library to simplify some tasks that I will be taking on shortly. For the most part everything works fine, however I seem to have some issues when running two requests at the same time. The first one stops execution as the second continues. If I place either an alert between the two requests or run the second through a setTimeout of only 1 millisecond, they both work. You can see a working example here:...

Not that it proves much, but it is definitely a huge step in the right direction. Bruce Lawson of The Web Standards Project seems optimistic albeit a

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
