Hi,
I am writing a small game that is using a form 800 * 600. The form
can be scrolled vertically up to a height of 1200 (basically the form
can be scrolled down one screen vertically).
The user controls a picturebox (my sprite) with the cursor keys
When the sprite hits the y value of 600 the screen scrolls down to

Hello,
I have two environments, QA and Production. When the users are testing, I
want them to know they are in the QA environment versus the Production
enviroment. One solution would be to use the bottom area of the ASPX page
(not sure what it is called) that informs you what page is loading and then
it says Done upon completion. At some websites I see this used to present a
scrolling banner in that area. How does one do this...what is...

Greetings,
I am trying to create a table that has a scrolling body. The problem I'm
experiencing is that if the columns in the "body" part of the table exceed
the width of the "header" then they columns lose their alignment. Can
anyone help me correct this?

I have a textbox that i am adding to (in codebehind of ASP.NET) and
need to ensure that the focus is scrolled to the bottom of the textbox
each time the page refreshes, and then set focus to a 2nd textbox
(which the user types input into).
I have tried a couple functions I found posted online but they don't
work (see below)

Here's one that should probably have the sub-heading "I'm sure I asked this
once before, but ...".
Two users are both looking at the same data, from a database. One user
changes the data and commits it. How does the other user get the updated
view without polling for changes? Is there some sort of callback mechanism
that can be set up on the dataset or connection?

I have a layer, which is a DIV that has overflow set to "auto", so it
looks like a little pop-up window, even though it's just a layer.
So if the content of that window makes the user scroll down to read it,
and the user clicks a link while scrolled down, and the AJAX function
calls new data into that DIV, that data, if overflowed, will also be
scrolled down.
So basically it's like if you scrolled down to the bottom of slashdot.org,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
