Hi,
Will the memory allocated by malloc get released when program exits?
I guess it will since when the program exits, the OS will free all the
memory (global, stack, heap) used by this process.
Is it correct?

Hi, I want to be able to make one of my C# programs expire after a certain
amount of time. The problem is I would like to do this without relying on the
systems clock, as the user is just able to move the date back and the program
works again. I would also not want to rely on a registry value if possible.
How do those trial versions of programs do this kind of thing? Any ideas
would be appreciated.

I can't make this script work properly. I've gone as far as I can with
it and the rest is out of my ability. I can do some html editing but
I'm lost in the Java world. The script at the bottom of the html page
controls the form fields that are required. It doesn't function like
it's supposed to and I can leave all the fields blank and it still

When a user launches the program, I want it to test if an update is
available.
You see many examples of this method to update. (Quickbooks, Norton
AntiVirus, online games)
I have a method already to determine if an update is available and download
it to the end-users computer. It does not automatically run the update.
The plan is let the user choose to update when they go to launch the

I have designed a vb.net program that reads a dateTime value from a database
table and then compares it to Now() through dateTime.compare(). I have loaded
an array with my datetime values from my table and I loop through this until a
match is made and then I run another program. Since I am continously checking
the system for a specific time the CPU stays at 99 %. I tried adding a do

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
