Getting parameters from the get method

Hello,

I am pretty rusty with javascript and I am trying to make a webpage
that will basically act as a wrapper from one webpage to another. What
I mean by this is that I will hit this page like:
webpage.htm?Par am1=... and I will take the passed params and post them
to another page. I have the post part working, but I was just
wondering how I can use just Javascript and read those values passed to
this webpage. Is this even possible?

Thanks for all of your time.

Yes, it's certainly possible.
The query string (the "?Param1=.. ." part of the url) is available via the
window.location .search property.
A google search on "parse query string javascript" will do the trick.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone else noticed that Win IE (~6.0.28) no
longer passes query strings from (Flash) ActionScript links on local files?
As for js, Javascript 1.3 documentation mentions "The search property...
applies to HTTP URLs only.", but it's never been an issue for local files on
any browser I've tested on in the past.
Bug, security issue, or correction?

Is there a way to get the values of the paramaters to a method programatically? I know that I can use reflection to find out the parameter names and types, etc., but I want to know the values of those parameters too. I'm trying to write a generic error handler. I wan't to be able to log the values that caused the error, without the user of the class having to specify the values 'cause

Hi, I've been working through a number of turorials to try to learn more about retrieving data from a SQL database. I think i've mastered techniques where i create a sql string in the page and pass it to the Db and retrieveing data from a stored procedure, but I can't get the hang of parameters. I have a method where I can get the parameters passed to the sp but it doesn't want to return any results. Here's a copy of my code:

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
