A question about netiquette

Hi all,
I don't know netiquette in this NG, so my answer is:
I have created a javascript tool on SourceForge with LGPL license, you
can use it in both commercial and open-source projects, it's free.
Could I post a link to this project?

Thank's.

Put [ANN] in the subject, be brief and on-topic, and don't hide your
association.

I think that everyone who told me that my question is irrelevant, in particular Mr. David White, is being absolutely ridiculous. Obviously, most of you up here behave like the owners of the C++ language. A C++ interface installation IS ABOUT THE C++ LANGUAGE! The language does not possess the ability to handle even simple file directory manipulation. Those wise people that created it did not take care of it. So, BOOST is a portable...

I am new to Template programming and I would like to create an array of user-defined class objects using MFC CArray. Normally I would use linked list processing - create an object class and then an object-list class, but in this instance array processing would be more efficient. However I need to use arrays that can dynamically shrink and grow ala Visual Basic arrays. I'm confused as to how to declare/implement the CArray using my Class....

Hallo, One of the netiquettes is not to answer newsgroup questions, which are placed in future. This behaviour is well known because in this case the message stays in most newsreaders in top op the reader. The netiquette says not to answer those questions.

I hate people who post messages to complain about others posting to multiple newsgroups, or condescendingly point to the documents in answer to a question, or sarcastically hint at the triviality of a posted question or suggestion. I would like to see the FAQ for each newsgroup updated to teach regulars on a newsgroup how to be inviting and helpful to newcomers. After all, every community wants to be prospering, and thriving, and noone...

Hi, I have the following problem. I am displaying and printing a PDF file that is generated by my Application server. The print dialogs comes up correctly for the small PDF for the larger PDFs ,the print dialog for the Acrobat reader does not comes up. I believe this is because print method is called before the complete loading of the PDF document. <html> <Head> <script>

I posted this question yesterday, and nothing but silence. I looked through cdma in Google, and it seems whenever someone posts questions about scatter charts, they get ignored. So, hopefully, this time, someone will have some brilliant response to share. Starting with the Chart Wizard, I can't get the Access scatter chart to place the data points correctly, ie at the intersection of their XY

Hi, I'm using PHP 4.4.4. An odd thing is happening with the mcrypt_encrypt function. I am trying to encrypt a string of data (for password storage): $enc = mcrypt_encrypt(MCRYPT_XTEA, ENCRYPTION_KEY, $p_str, MCRYPT_MODE_ECB, $iv); and then I'm trying to log in later by encrypting the entered password

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
