Form details, help please

Is it possible to have Username and ID Numbers automatically printed into
boxes when I visit a particular site.

Here is the problem:-

I run an online business, visitors to my website can sign up with the same
company has I have joined but they become part of my team (Its a MLM
Company). They have to use my username and ID, but if they cock it up they
could end up in another team.

Is there a way that as they click the join button on my site they are then
directed to the main companies joining site and my details are automatically
in the 2 boxes.

Thanks
John

This would normally be done as part of the URL on your site so that the
main site knows that the user came from you, e.g.

href="http://somesite.com/signup.php?refe rer=Johny
If you just have a link to the main site, there's nothing you can do
except perhaps spoof the form on the main site and submit it with your
details from your site, but that will likely not work.

I have been trying for ages to work out how to highlight a form field using css when there is an error during validation. I have got the form to validate fine but i don't know how to change the background-color of the form element in question. I would like for example, if the user has forgotten to enter their email address, the field is highlighted so they know what they have to enter. Any valid fields are left the same color. here is...

Okay, so I have no knowledge with ASP and I was asked to look at this contact form because the emails aren't delivering. I'll post the whole page of code, because I am unsure at what is what really apart from the common knowledge stuff i.e. the send email to etc, but this wasn't designed by me so I am unsure if it's wrong or right.. If someone could let me know whether there's a problem with the code or if the problem may lay elsewhere...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
