Do all javascript blocked by service pack 2?

I installed service pack 2. Sometimes I saw a link that link to:
<a href="javascrip t:popChatWin(0) ">

Sometimes I use javascript to redirect website. Service pack 2 block
that.

Sometimes the javascript is not blocked. Sometimes it is. When is it
blocked and when not? Does javascript always blocked under service
pack 2?

I noticed the same. It appears to only take place when you are viewing
the file locally on your computer. My experience has been that once
live on a web server it is allowed it with out any warnings.

By default SP2 disables JavaScript locally but allows it for pages from
a web server.

That page, http://businessfranchisegroupinterne...ssociation.htm
use a javascript redirect to http://www.eliteteammarketing.com/93824/.
However, internet explorer block the redirect. It's on the server, not
on the hard drive in my directory. Why?

No it doesn't. The second document is framed within the first.
I found it by looking at the source of the first page. I did not
even investigate the other frames.

Try saving the second link if you want to keep records about
that particular internet based pyramid scheme. I could not be
bothered trying to save either. They are both beyond redemption.

In spite of trying various ways of loading .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 under my new WinXP Service pack 1, I was unable to get it to install. Typically, the installation would hang after a minute or two of execution. After many hours of frustration, I called Microsoft tech support and discussed the issue with them. After asking around, the support person said there indeed was a bug in the installation file, and to forget about it...

Hello, Not sure if this is the right discussion group to post this, but here it goes. For some god-forsaken reason (which I can't find out either) MSIE stopped executing any JavaScripts. In any page which contains JavaScript code, that code won't be executed. There are no error messages, no warnings, nothing. It simply does'nt work. I'm pretty sure this could be caused by some stupid installation of another program

Dear Group If you want to perform a slipstreamed install of .NET Framework 1.1, including Service Pack 1, here's how. First, what do we mean by slipstreamed install? It means that version 1.1 of the framework will be installed, with the service pack 1 update already applied, "slipstreamed". There will be no need to download additional updates or install service packs as a secondary step.

I have an ASP.NET application that imports product descriptions from an Excel file. The Excel file is uploaded, then a background thread will start importing the product descriptions from the Excel file. When the Excel file is uploaded, the user's browser is redirected (using Response.Redirect) to a new page that will stream some javascript to show the progress of the import. I do perform a Response.Flush() after each script tag. I've...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
