I think I'm doing something wrong. I'm able to connect to Oracle just
fine, execute queries and all, but I'm having serious problems with
the speed :(
For example, the following PHP-script on my machine executes about 6
seconds:

Hi
I have a DB2 v8.1 on AIX and DB2 Connect EE on Solaris wich is connected to
OS/390 DB2 subsystems via APPC / SNA. I have cataloged the DB2 Connect
instance as tcpip node and then the Host DB cataloged on that node...this
works from v7.2 Fixpack 11 clients and servers, but with v8.1 server I get
SQL1334N.
Does anyone has an idea?

Hi,
I am working on a project in access 2000, Whilst I already have a table
called client and seems to be related with other tables ,I tried making
TBL client as lookup too, I ended up having another table called
Client_1,The question is:
1- How it created?
2- this Why is this table in relationships view and not anywhere else?
3- Is it the same table as client?
4-can I remove One of them?

Hi,
I am developing a socket server in C# and I want it to be blocking.
Anyway I have it working with threads, as each client connects the socket
spawned from the accept method is sent to a client thread.
In each thread I have a loop like below:
the data_available method is a wrapper around Socket.Poll() so I can use it
in miliseconds instead of micro.

feedback - some users say that since they started running the app, all their
other applications a running noticeably slower. At first I thought this might
have been a memory issue, but these machines have more than enough RAM (512 MB),
