Opera and javascript errors

How do you view javascript errors in Opera?

IE pops them in a modal box and NS has the excellent javascript console.
What does Opera have?

Hello, I've just downloaded and installed Opera711, good browser. Most of my scripts work just fine, except the ones that use "clip" property. Opera docs say that it's supported but I can't get it to work. It seems that clip is some kind of object (some kind of rect?) but I'm unable to read it's properties, only methods. It has only one method "replace". Can you tell me what's going on there? And why can't I read properties of objects...

Hi, folks. Does this error below look familiar to you? I'm trying to access function in one frame from the other frame. Error is received while working with Opera or Netscape (different errors). No problems are encountered with Microsoft IE - everything works fine. Any ideas about direction? // Opera error

I've been trying to make this simple script compatible across various browsers. It works for IE 6.0 and NS 7 but doesnt work with Opera (I have version 7.11). This is what is supposed to happen: when the user clicks a button in the main window, a dialog window pops up. In the dialog the user enters a university to search for. When the string is submitted, the dialog then shows all the matches found in the database. The user picks one and...

After my web page has been loaded I'm doing some tests with a JavaScript. If I figure out that something is wrong I'd like to reload the whole frameset. With Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox I can reload the whole frameset with parent.location.href = "index.html"; However, this doesn't work with Opera. Does someone know how to do that with Opera?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
